My daughter has been attending Ms. Annette’s class for 2 years now. Her gentle voice, excellent musical knowledge and poise makes my little girl feel safe, loved, happy and thriving. And for me as a first-time Mommy, I always feel welcomed, respected, never judged, only warmth and full of caring. I love that Ms. Annette listens, is a lighting-fast improviser (meaning she has this natural ability to keep the children enthusiastically engaged regardless of distractions like parents dropping off kids a little late into class, potty breaks, etc) and she truly does love the kids. I’m extremely satisfied with the entire program. and my baby loves the music, dancing, props, learning, reading and all the fun musical gifts we get to take home. We have a growing collection of high-quality instruments which we love playing at home along with creative family activities. Kindermusik with Annette has been a wonderful activity for our daughter, Bevan. Our daughter thrives on the high quality musical activities Annette provides, as well as the social relationships she has formed in class. Bevan attended a preschool where Annette offered classes throughout the day. As a working mom, I was happy to know that she was receiving this enriching extra-curricular activity throughout the week. And, equally impressive is Annette's dedication to offering classes during this unique time due to COVID-19. I am impressed with the ways Annette has continued to provide (unlimited) access to online Zoom classes throughout the week and appreciate the ways that helps us look forward to an activity here at home. My tot is always excited to go to class and even plays pretend Music Class at home with an imaginary Miss Annette. That speaks volumes to me!
From the parent side, she also is very prompt about communication-responding to emails right away and informing you on developmentally appropriate activities to do with the Kindermusik kit. She has a heart for the community and is very kind to all peoples.

We love Kindermusik! I started taking my son at 10 months old and it helped him grow socially with all the other kids. He loved bouncing and shaking the instruments. We had to stop going unfortunately due to a new job. We still listened to the music and read the books. But Annette opened up a 5:30pm class which we are able to attend again! My son has never really been the type to dance or sing in front if anyone (even his parents!) or in general. Now he is singing his favorite song “Shiny Dinah” while in the car or playing with his train set. He even requests songs in the car now! So happy we are able to experience Kindermusik again! Let me just say, you get what you pay for-this is so much more of an enriching experience than any free library storytime or even other paid toddler classes. She is a gem of a teacher; she's very prepared with the activities. We're switching songs and instruments and dances at just the right pace to keep everyone engaged. What's best about class is that she is in tune with each child's individual personality and ability, and encourages them a lot. She incorporates their names and preferences into the activities and routines.

Kindermusik with Annette is fantastic. My mother has 40 years of teaching experience and I have 10. Both of us had the same reaction when we attended our first kindermusik class with my son. Annette is a pro! She has the empathy and understanding of child development necessary to work with small children, she has has a beautiful voice and runs an organized, magical class. Going to kindermusik has done more to help my sons speech development than all of his speech therapy combined. We absolutely love Kindermusik with Ms. Annette! My daughter was very clingy and shy when we started in August, and I have so enjoyed watching her come out of her shell. She loves playing drums and gets excited for each new instrument Annette brings out. We now have a repertoire of fun songs, finger plays, and dances to keep our little one happy (and busy!) and home. This is my daughter's second year in Kindermusik with Miss Annette and she loves it! Even though my daughter may be reserved at times in class when we listen to the CDs she knows all the words. Her musical vocabulary is amazing - how many 3-year-olds know what a glissando is!? Kindermusik has also strengthened her creativity as she often changes the words to familiar Kindermusik songs and loves doing imaginitive play with the take-home materials. AND listening to Kindermusik in the car has been the only thing that calms my baby boy when he's upset! Lindsay Stump 2/1/2018

We love Kindermusik with Annette! My daughter has attended the 'Our Time' and 'Imagine That' classes, which are perfectly structured for the children's developmental ages. I have been very impressed at some of the musical skills that she has picked up, and even learned a few musical concepts myself. I love bringing my son to Annette's class. My son started at 9 months and is now 17 months old and loves to listen to the songs, which I'll play in the car or at home. He'll try to sing or hum to the lyrics and move to the steady beat. Annette will email you weekly lesson plans and how to integrate them at home. The class comes with a music cd, book, and toy that is also incorporated in class. He has been exposed to a wide variety of music styles and I love watching him grow by singing, dancing, and playing. I've enrolled my daughter in a variety of preschool classes and Annette is by far the best teacher she has ever had. Annette is patient, makes the classes fun, and educates the parents as well. She is organized and keeps the class moving a long at a good pace keeping the kids entertained. She is also very good and redirecting the kids. And now my son has started the class and he also looks forward to attending. I really enjoy how learning about music is approached in these classes. Learning to hear and feel the rhythm of music by playing percussion instruments or sitting on a parent's lap while being bounced. My daughter seldom sings while in class, but likes singing the songs at home and can carry the melodies well.She is very active and I was surprised to see her sit still for storytime and quietly listen to the sounds presented. -Sigrid Greene 11/2/08
